Citizen Cadre announce national EP release tour

Citizen Cadre are pleased toannounce their upcoming EP "Silvia", along with their North Island EP releasetour.

Although Citizen Cadre arerelatively new on the scene, vocalists and guitarists Frank Bourke and MikeGreen have been playing music together since they were 11. They parted waysbefore really getting a chance to see what they could do. Now that they bothinhabit the same city, Auckland, they're giving it a real go alongside bassistKevin Pilgrim and long time friend and new addition, drummer Tristan Brooks.

The result of Bourke and Green'slong-held friendship is a sound which meshes their musical influences into a fusionof sublime harmony, grunge based rock and bluesy melody with a subtle hint offunk.

Over the course of the four trackEP the sound moves from the eerie rock of Silviato the road tripping country rhythms of SouthernGold to the grungier rock of BeCareful What You Learn and Slave,all the while retaining the harmonies which feel so natural you will swearyou've heard the song before.

Citizen Cadre are taking to stagesacross the North Island, accompanied by five piece Melbourne funk outfit TheFeathered Friends.
